In the second box this year, was included a kit to make a by Annie bag. We had prechosen the pattern we would like to make among her patterns that also have on line videos for the tricky parts. I chose the following pattern.

Στο δεύτερο κουτί αυτής της χρονιάς υπήρχε και ένα κιτ για να κάνουμε μια τσάντα από την Άννυ. Είχαμε προεπιλέξει το πατρόν που θέλαμε να φτιάξουμε ανάμεσα στα πατρόν της που συνοεύονται και από βιντεάκια για τα δύσκολα σημεία. Διάλεξα σε προγενέστερο χρόνο αυτό το πατρόν που φυσικά συνοδεύεται και από διάφορα βιντεάκια για τα πιο δύσκολα σημεία.

Annie sent the pattern and everything I needed to make all three bags. Mesh, elastic tapes, zippers, soft and stable etc.

Η Annie μου έστειλε ό,τι χρειάζεται για να κάνω και τα 3 νεσεσέρ. Δίχτυα, ελαστικές λωρίδες, φερμουάρ, ενισχυτικό κτλ.

Island Batik added the fabric I had also pre chosen.

και τα Island Batik πρόσθεσαν τα υφάσματα που είχα επίσης προ-επιλέξει.

I started working having the company of Annie herself showing the parts that needed more attention on my phone.

Ξεκίνησα να δουλεύω έχοντας δίπλα μου στα δύσκολα σημεία την Άννυ με τα βιντεάκια της στο τηλέφωνό μου.

Of course I used Aurifil threads and I made everything on my Husvarna Viking using Schmetz needles.

Βέβαια έραψα με κλωστές Αουριφίλ που είχε μέσα το κουτί στη Χουσκβαρνίτσα μου και πάντα με βελόνες Schmetz.

I finished all three bags very soon and fast because I so much love making by Annie’s patterns. I loved them so much and used them all dyring my holidays.

Τέλειωσα και τα τρία τσαντάκια πολύ γρήγορα και νωρίς γιατί δεν κρατιόμουν. Μου άρεσαν τόσο πολύ και τα τρία και τα χρησιμοποιήσαμε και τα τρία στις διακοπές μας.

I used the big one to carry my woollen project, even on the beach. You may see that I added more mesh pockets in the interior.

Χρησιμοποίησα το μεγάλο για να κουβαλάω το έργο μου με τις τσόχες. Ακόμα και στην παραλία. Μπορείτε να δείτε ότι προσέθεσα κι άλλες τσέπες με δίχτυ μέσα.

The middle one was gifted to my husband to carry our holidays pharmacy. He went through a surgery on May and had to carry more than usual.

Το μεσαίο το έδωσα στον άντρα μου για το φαρμακείο των διακοπών. Μετά την επέμβαση που έκανε φέτος, χρειαζόταν να κουβαλήσει λίγο περισσότερα..

And I used the smallest for my cosmetics, since I use the minimum you can imagine.

Κι εγώ που χρησιμοποιώ όσο λιγότερα καλλυντικά μπορείτε να φανταστείτε, κράτησα και το μικρότερο.

Making the bags was not difficult, since as I have already told you, there are also videos that help a lot. The most difficult part was the inside binding, that I preferred to finish by hand. Of course Annie shows how to make it by machine but I always prefer to finish it by hand. I am so pleased as I always am when making something by Annie.

Η κατασκευή τους δεν ήταν πολύ δύσκολη, μια και όπως σας είπα, υπάρχουν τα βιντεάκια που βοηθούν πολύ. Το πιο δύσκολο σημείο είναι το εσωτερικό ρέλιασμα, που προτίμησαν να το τελειώσω στο χέρι. Φυσικά η Άννυ έχει βιντεάκι και γι αυτό, αλλά εγώ πάντα το τελειώνω στο χέρι. Είμαι τόσο ευχαριστημένη, όπως κάθε φορά που φτιάχνω ένα δικό της πατρόν

On top of them, and ispired by the patterns I had made, I also made a simpler bag for a close friend using fabrics from previous collections kept for him, since he likes tools.

Και πέρα από τα παραπάνω, εμπνεόμενη από αυτά και εκμεταλλευόμενη υφάσματα που είχα κρατήσει ειδικά γι αυτόν τον σκοπό, έκανα και ένα πιο απλό νεσεσεράκι για έναν φίλο που αγαπά τα εργαλεία. Τα υφάσματα είναι από προηγούμενη συλλογή
